STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University will host the Next Gen Equine Vet Med Conference, an informational seminar for undergraduate students interested in equine veterinary medicine, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Agriculture Center.
The comprehensive program will showcase insights and networking opportunities for budding equine healthcare professionals. Leading industry experts and speakers include:
- Jodi Lynch Findley, founder of JodiSpeaksLIFE, who will deliver the opening address and speak about “Preparing for a Thriving Career: Becoming Your Most Effective Self.”
- Brittany Eymer, LVT, and Laurel Klotz, RVT, who will lead a session on careers for certified veterinary technicians, registered veterinary technicians and licensed veterinary technicians.
- Dr. Alexandra Cofield, Dr. Grady Cofield, Dr. Jessica Hamilton, Dr. Erik Moore and Dr. Morgan Solomon, panelists from prestigious institutions such as Weatherford Equine Hospital, The Equine Lameness Center, Signature Equine Hospital and Grote Veterinary Clinic. They will lead a candid conversation during the “Straight from the Horse’s Mouth: Candid Conversations Veterinary Forum.”
- Dr. Sam Crosby, Dr. Brad Powell and Katie Thomas, MA, who will take part in the Vet Med Industry Leadership Panel, offering valuable insights into leadership roles within the veterinary industry.
