STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s Dr. Sam Pack College of Business has announced a milestone achievement: graduates of its Master of Accounting program achieved an impressive 59 percent pass rate on first-time attempts for the 2023 Uniform CPA Exam.
“This outstanding achievement showcases the dedication and talent of our students as well as the expertise and support of our faculty,” said Dr. Keldon Bauer, Interim Dean of the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business. “Their success on the CPA exam is a reflection of the high standards we hold and the incredible potential of our graduates to make a meaningful impact in the accounting profession.”
According to data from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), this performance places Tarleton State among the top six of Texas’ 28 public universities for CPA exam success, underscoring the college’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and professional preparation.
