Ribbon Cutting and Open House

STEPHENVILLE, Texas—A ribbon-cutting and open house are planned for 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, March, 8 to celebrate the opening of Tarleton State University’s new Wellness Center.
The center is located at 600 Rome St. in Traditions Hall North on the Stephenville campus and is home to student health and counseling services that were previously located in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center.
Bridgette Bednarz, director of Tarleton’s Student Health Services said the new facility helps the department reach its goal of keeping students healthy so they can achieve their academic and personal goals.
“We believe the Wellness Center will be able to reach more students while expanding new services in the future,” she said.
