Almost 100 donors kicked off the holiday season Tuesday with a gift to support Tarleton State University students. All total, donors gave $26,295 to colleges, scholarships and student programs and activities.
Tarleton State University has received a final gift of $300,000 from the estate of the late provost Dr. Robert C. Fain to provide scholarships for students planning to teach secondary mathematics or chemistry.
Each of the six colleges at Tarleton State University will showcase research projects during the annual Research and Scholarship Appreciation Week Oct. 25 through 30.
