Tarleton brings home multiple TSMRI awards for Twitter use

FORT WORTH, Texas — Tarleton State University departments, faculty and staff brought home multiple awards for Twitter use — based on Klout scores and number of followers — from Texas Social Media Research Institute’s annual conference.

In partnership with Education Service Center Region 11, the conference took place Tuesday, with Tarleton ranking ninth on the list of Texas public universities on Twitter.

The annual event brings together social media experts to provide insight and instruction on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Periscope, Vlogging and Snapchat, among other platforms.

The top 10 Tarleton departments/outreach locations using Twitter are:
