STEPHENVILLE, Texas — The Department of Fine Arts at Tarleton State University presents the quartet Strings Attached in a guest artist recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, in the Theater of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center. Admission is free.

The quartet features Sondra Brudnak on violin, Annika Donnen on viola, cellist Vilmer Peguero and pianist Esther Wang. Brudnak, associate professor of violin at Tarleton, is also assistant principal second violin at the Dallas Opera.

Donnen, who played viola at the Utah Festival for Opera and Musical Theater last summer, is also a clinician for D’Addario and Co. Peguero is cellist for the Dallas Opera as well as a faculty member at the Dallas Suzuki Academy. Wang is associate professor of piano at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota.

Featured pieces in the concert include “Sonata in G Major for Violin and Harpsichord” by Johann Sebastian Bach and “Piano Quartet in G Minor” by Johannes Brahms.
