STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Music from some of the genre’s most recognizable composers is on the play list as the Tarleton State University Jazz Ensembles present their final concert of the semester at 7:30 p.m. April 30 in the Clyde H. Wells Center Auditorium.

The event, titled “The Gift Awaits,” features pieces by Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis and Quincy Jones played by Jazz Ensemble II, while Jazz Ensemble I will play tunes by Chuck Owen, Thad Jones, Tom Kubis, and Bill Holman.

Admission is free for Tarleton students, faculty and staff; general admission is $5.
