Tarleton Musicians Qualify for Prestigious Italian Festival

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University flute students Coby Campbell and Sadie Horton have been selected to attend the prestigious InterHarmony music festival in Aqui Terme, Italy, July 4-16.

Campbell, a senior from Lampasas, and Horton, an Iowa Park junior, were chosen through a competitive audition. They will join a select group of musicians from across the globe to learn from some of the most renowned performers and educators in the industry.

They will participate in lessons, master classes and rehearsals, and perform in a variety of settings, from solo and chamber music recitals to large ensemble concerts. 

The ULTRA Club and Dr. Eric V. Morrow, Dean of Tarleton’s College of Liberal and Fine Arts, are helping fund the trip.
