Homecoming 2016 – Texan State of Mind

STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University’s Homecoming Parade, including floats, marching bands, mounted horseback riders and vintage vehicles begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The parade, which follows the Homecoming 2016 theme—Texan State of Mind—starts at the Harbin Drive exit of the Memorial Stadium parking lot, turns left on Washington Street and continues east past the front of the campus. The procession then turns left on McIlhaney Street, right on Vanderbilt and ends at the Ollie Street intersection.

The announcer’s stand will be located on McIlhaney Street in front of the Tarleton Alumni Association’s headquarters across from Heritage Park and the east rock gates.

Those interested in participating in the parade should contact the Office of Student Engagement for an entry form. Deadline to submit an entry form is 11:59 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14. No walk-ups will be accepted. To view and/or complete a parade entry form, visit www.tarleton.educoming/parade.

Once an entry form is submitted, a letter of instruction with complete details will be mailed or emailed to the address provided.
