Tarleton State Campuses to Close for Winter Break

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University will be closed for winter break from noon Monday, Dec. 23, through New Year’s Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025. Campuses and other operations will reopen Thursday, Jan. 2. Classes resume Thursday, Jan. 16.

The Dick Smith Library in Stephenville will close at noon, Dec. 23 and the Rickett Library on the Fort Worth campus closes at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20. Both libraries reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 2. 

The Campus Recreation Center and the Aquatics Center will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 19, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Jan. 2. They will keep a modified schedule until normal hours resume Jan. 14.

The campus Dining Hall closed Dec. 12 and will reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.
