Tarleton State, Langdon Center Hosting Rio Brazos Juried Art Exhibition

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s Department of Visual Arts and Design, along with the Langdon Center in Granbury, will host the 27th Annual Rio Brazos Juried Art Exhibition beginning Saturday and running through April 27.

The exhibition, featuring 42 artists from across the country, will be on view at the Langdon Center Concert Hall weekends from noon to 5 p.m. A closing reception is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27. The reception is open to the public and will include a chance to meet event juror, Fort Worth artist Layla Luna, who will be present to talk to artists and hand out awards. 

The artists featured employ a variety of media ranging from drawing, photography, painting, ceramics and colorful sculptures.

The Langdon Center Concert Hall is at the corner of Bridge and Brazos streets in Granbury

Proceeds from the exhibition will support student scholarships in the Studio Art and Digital Media Studies programs at Tarleton State.
