STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s one-year online MBA program was recently ranked No. 19 in “The 40 Best One-Year Online MBA Programs 2024,” an annual listing published by College Consensus.
“We are thrilled to be ranked among the top 40 one-year online MBA programs in the nation,” said Dr. Raj Aroskar, Dean of the College of Business. “This achievement is a testament to our dedicated faculty, motivated students and our commitment to providing a transformative and forward-thinking business education.”
College Consensus lauded Tarleton State’s online MBA degree as a great choice for professionals seeking to advance their business skills and accelerate their careers. It noted in particular Tarleton’s accelerated pace, flexible schedule and affordability.
The program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Its core curriculum provides a comprehensive foundation covering essential business areas. Students may specialize in one of nine areas, and the accelerated track offers the same content as the traditional MBA.
“Tarleton State University’s MBA program is known for its inclusive approach, accommodating both those seeking professional growth and those embarking on career transitions,” said Dr. Michael Mathis, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies. “Our students gain not only knowledge but a valuable skill set that can be applied across multiple industries. Since 2018, Consensus has published annual rankings based on its methodology showing the “best of the best” from expert and student perspectives. The process looks at every top MBA to see which were offered in both hybrid and online format and could be completed in a year. Ranking scores were weighted equally, averaged, and converted to a score on a 100-point scale to reveal the degree’s Consensus Score. In the event of a tie, the base tuition was used as the tie-breaking factor.
Data for the ranking order was collected from Forbes, The Financial Times, Bloomberg, Businessweek, U.S. News and World Report, and Fortune. Read more at https://www.collegeconsensus.com/about/.
