Tarleton to award more than 560 diplomas at summer graduation

STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University’s summer commencement exercises are set for Friday, Aug. 11, with 562 graduates receiving diplomas.

Ceremonies for the colleges of Education, Health Sciences and Human Services, Liberal and Fine Arts, and Science and Technology take place at 1 p.m.

Graduates from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the College of Business Administration are recognized in 4 p.m. ceremonies. Exercises for the College of Graduate Studies follow at 7.

All programs take place in Wisdom Gym on the Stephenville campus. Tarleton President F. Dominic Dottavio will confer 445 bachelor’s, 112 master’s and five doctoral degrees during the three ceremonies.

Due to construction, traffic patterns may be different from previous visits to Tarleton. St. Peter Street from Washington is now one way into campus, and Rome Street is open from Frey to Sloan.
