Tarleton Upward Bound

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Eligible high school students interested in a college preparatory program can apply to participate in Tarleton State University’s Upward Bound program.
The program offers tutoring, academic counseling, cultural enrichment and other services to help students successfully complete high school, enroll in college or other institutions of higher learning, and graduate. Upward Bound also provides tutoring for college entrance exams, assistance with college application and financial aid processes, and college and career exploration.
To apply, students must be in the ninth or 10th grade and attend Stephenville, Comanche, De Leon, Dublin, Huckabay, Iredell, Gustine and Lingleville high schools. Participation is limited to upcoming first-generation college students who meet program income guidelines.
