Tarleton’s W.K. Gordon Center hosts murder mystery event

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Center for Texas Industrial History kicks off the Halloween season with “Museum After Dark: Murder at the Museum” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.

Attendees must sift through the evidence, interview suspects and find the murderer of John Czerwinski.

The free event is a come-and-go affair open to the public. Students wishing to participate are offered a free ride from the Stephenville campus to the museum. While reservations to the event are not required, they are necessary to hold seats in the van. The museum, in historic Thurber, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. It is located at Exit 367 on Interstate 20 between Fort Worth and Abilene.
