Undergraduate admission to Waco, Texas A&M-RELLIS, and Online requires:
- a minimum of 24 transferable hours
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- TSI complete status
These Transfer locations only offer upper-division courses. If your degree requires additional lower-level courses, some may be available online, but you may also need to complete courses at another institution and transfer them to Tarleton. Financial Aid Consortiums with Tarleton’s community college partners are available to assist with the cost of dual enrollment.

- Tarleton State University application
- $50 application fee
- Official college transcripts from every accredited institution you have attended
- Any other items requested by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions based on application answers

- If you are core complete at another Texas public college or university, you will be considered core complete at Tarleton
- Maximum of 90 credit hours can be applied to a 120-credit hour bachelor’s degree

Professional completion degrees at Tarleton recognize your existing knowledge through professional training, certifications, and technical coursework. Whether your career started with military specialization, a technical program, career training, or professional certification, Tarleton recognizes that higher education happens outside the classroom. These types of training can account for credit hours within these degree programs. The hours and types of training will be evaluated to determine the number of college credits earned. Our programs will equip students with the necessary skills for academic advancement and success in today’s competitive workplace.
