Since the university is not permitted to use state funds to pay for auxiliary services (i.e., parking, housing, etc.), permit sales are the source of revenue used to enhance these options. The Stephenville campus is adding an additional 600 new surface lot spaces for Fall 2023 and, upon completion, a new parking garage with approximately 700 more spaces.
What specific parking upgrades are happening?
Tarleton State University is working diligently to add approximately 1,300 additional parking spaces over the next two academic years in Stephenville. In Fall 2023, there will be three new surface lots ready for use that will bring an additional 600 new spaces. With an anticipated completion date in the 2024-25 year, Tarleton will open approximately 700 additional spots in the school’s newest parking garage.
Am I expected to pay the entire cost before classes begin?
