Pesticide Exposure Overview & Resources

Tarleton State University received a grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture to provide education to nurses, nursing students and first responders regarding pesticide exposure and toxicity. During the initial year of the grant, project faculty presented pesticide content to nursing students and first responders in all regions of Texas. During the second year of the grant faculty created online modules, which contain pesticide content with information, videos, content links, and quizzes. Modules through this website can be used by faculty in courses for nursing students and for first responders as well as offer the modules to their graduates. The website link is available to the 59 Texas baccalaureate/graduate nursing programs and all Texas community college programs offering EMT/Paramedic programs.

This Website contains six online modules for nursing students and two modules for first responders.
