WHAT IS TEXAN SMART?
Texan Smart is a financial education center that provides support and guidance to Tarleton Students. We help students understand their financial situations and explore various options and resources. Our goal is to ensure each student who walks into our office has the tools they need to succeed in the future.
WHAT SERVICES DOES TEXAN SMART PROVIDE?
We provide financial education and awareness to students through One-on-one peer financial coaching and personal finance workshops that help facilitate the understanding of the following topics:
- Student Loans
- Budgeting
- Building Credit
- Credit Cards
HOW CAN I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
Students can schedule an appointment with Texan Smart in several ways:
- Through EAB under Texan Services

- In-person by stopping by our office in the Thompson Student Center Room 12
