Research Compliance

Tarleton State Universities policies governing research are in accordance with Texas A&M University System, state, and federal regulations. The Office of Research Compliance provides administrative oversight and coordination of the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The Office of Research Compliance is also charged with investigating allegations of research misconduct, reviewing Financial Conflicts of Interest (FCOI) in research, administering the Tarleton Research Participant Enrollment System by Sona Systems, CITI program, IRBNet, USDA-APHIS Licensing, and iRIS (coming soon). Additionally, the Tarleton Office of Research Compliance provides a unique service in helping understand and meet federal sponsor compliance items.
