  • Application Deadlines:
    • Summer 2024 – June 19

  • Classes Begin:

  • FAFSA opens on October 1
    • You have to fill out a new FAFSA every academic year
    • January 15 is the Final Filing Date for FAFSA TASFA
  • Apply for Scholarships– Most of our students — 80% — receive financial aid, including over $12 million in Tarleton and private college scholarships each year. 
    • Fall Priority Date- January 15th
    • Spring Priority Date- December 1st
    • Early Consideration for Next Academic Year- December 1st
  • How do I get started?
    • Answer: To get started, give us a call or email us so we can better understand your story and offer personalized help.
  • What are the steps to reapply?
    • Answer: The steps to reapply are to complete your ApplyTexas application and then fill out your FAFSA and General Scholarship application. Once you have been reaccepted, then an appointment with your academic advisor can be scheduled.   
  • How is my campus determined?
    • Answer: Your campus is assigned based on which county you reside in.
  • Do I have to submit transcripts if I haven’t attended anywhere else since Tarleton?
    • Answer: Usually, if Tarleton is the last institution you attended, then you are not required to submit any other transcripts. There are some exceptions though, so make sure you check your email in case something is needed.
  • Who is my academic advisor? Check Here
  • Does my UID number change when I come back to school?
    • Answer: No, you will keep the same UID number throughout your entire time at Tarleton.
  • I did not attend last semester but attended Tarleton previously. Do I have to reapply and pay the application fee again to attend?
    • Answer: Any time a student does not attend for a long semester (fall or spring), they must reapply but the application fee is waived.
  • What academic support services does Tarleton offer?
    • Answer: Tarleton offers the Writing Center, Math Clinic, Tutoring and Learning, and Supplemental Instruction. You also have full access to the Readmission team where we can offer support and guide you to the right person to help you with any barriers that may arise.
  • What do I do about a past due balance?
