Who is eligible to apply for the program?
Tarleton freshmen and sophomores that have shown exemplary academic achievement and that are planning to certify as secondary (high school) educators are eligible. Please see the program requirements for more information.
My classification is “junior” or “senior.” Am I eligible?
The program is primarily geared towards freshmen and occasionally sophomores. Juniors and seniors not already in the program are not typically eligible to join because the program is intended to be a 3-4 year process.
I am planning to certify to teach elementary school. Am I eligible?
Unfortunately, this program is only for students intending to certify as secondary educators.
