MP-4: Media Storage

NIST Baseline: Moderate

Information system users shall physically and securely store any electronic or physical media maintained and controlled within their area or department to ensure access to such information is controlled and restricted, as necessary.

Protect system media types maintained by Tarleton State University (Tarleton) until the media is destroyed or sanitized using approved equipment, techniques, and procedures ensuring any information is maintained in accordance with the Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) Records Retention Schedule, as applicable.
