- Tarleton State University (Tarleton) collaborative communication devices and applications are considered speaker phones, cameras, microphones, networked screens, networked white boards, and other teleconferencing equipment.
- Collaborative communication devices and applications in sensitive work areas must have remote activation methods disabled to prohibit remote activation. Administrative access to the device must be restricted to authorized Office of Innovative Technology Solutions (OITS) personnel.
- An exception to this control is approved for communication devices in public conference rooms.
- Collaborative communication devices and applications will have an explicit indication of use for users physically present at the collaborative computing device indicating when these devices are activated.
- Collaborative communication devices and applications in sensitive work areas must have remote activation methods disabled to prohibit remote activation. Administrative access to the device must be restricted to authorized Office of Innovative Technology Solutions (OITS) personnel.
