Obtain UID
Your UID is a unique nine-digit number provide to you upon your application to Tarleton. This number, along with a starting PIN (MMDDYY) is sent to you in correspondence from the Admissions office. The UID number is frequently used to confirm your identity and to access certain online service – so it is a good idea to have it memorized. If you have lost your letter or have forgotten your UID, you may look it up at Tarleton University ID Lookup.
T: Drive
Every Tarleton student will have a T: Drive. This drive is accessible on any Tarleton computer and has around 1GB storage space. This allows students to save documents from one Tarleton computer and be able to open them from any other Tarleton computer.
Apply for Housing Online
Incoming freshmen, you can apply for campus housing using the Residential Management System. The first time you log in, use your UID as your username as well as your password. Then, the system will request you to change your password to something unique. This password is not synchronized with other Tarleton systems.
Register for Classes
New students may use myGateway to register for classes. First-time freshmen and transfer students with less than 12 hours are require to complete an orientation before registration.
Obtain a Student Email
How to locate your student (go.tarleton.edu) email:
- Log in to myGateway
- Choose Student tab
- Choose Ducktrax
- Choose Personal Information
- Choose View Email Addresses
- See University Email for your go.tarleton.edu email
- Log into your email at outlook.office365.com (your password was provided when you claimed your UID).
Obtain a Texan Card
Go to Photo Upload for Texan Card and follow the instructions and links in the document.
Pay Your Registration Bill Online
You can purchase your first Stephenville campus parking permit by logging into the Parking Service website with your NTNET username and password. You will press the $25 button to proceed— your payment will be included in your tuition bill. For Fort Worth, Waco, and Weatherford students, please contact the campus you will be attending.
