The mission of the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) is to help protect the lives and property of the citizens of Texas by developing and enforcing professional standards for the fire service which includes certification, training approval and testing, curriculum, and standards compliance.
What do you need for the exam?
Examinees must complete their certification application with TCFP before scheduling their exam. On test day, examinees will need their TCFP Exam Eligibility form. This can be accessed on their FIDO account after TCFP application completion.
