What the test is:

The HESI is designed to measure a student’s ability to apply concepts related to specific clinical nursing content areas, while making sure that students are prepared to pass the NCLEX-RN. What is on the test:

The HESI exam is a standardized, timed, multiple-choice computerized test. It is designed to assess the knowledge and preparedness of entry-level nursing students. The cumulative score of the exam is calculated using scores from the English (Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading), Math, and A&P sections.

Cost of the test:

The cost of the HESI exam for Tarleton State University students is $75.50. The cost for non-students is $95.50.
