About TORUS

TORUS is a 1 day NSF-funded celebration of student research in Mathematics which brings together students & faculty across Texas and Oklahoma! If you are a student doing (or considering) math research, TORUS is a free, friendly, and low-stakes opportunity to share your work, get new ideas, and celebrate others like you!

Who can register?

  • Anyone in the math community is welcome to attend. This includes undergraduate students, graduate students, high school students, and faculty.
  • Attendees are encouraged to register before February 7, 2025. Limited in-person registration will be available on the day of the event, but lunch may not be available for attendees who register in-person.
  • Attendees who plan to give a research presentation (i.e. research talk) must submit by February 7, 2025.
