Dr. Tiffany McLaurin is currently a Professional Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University. She has her PhD. in Juvenile Justice and has a comprehensive background in Teaching, Counseling, and Criminal Justice that spans over a 25-year period. She is an avid community service leader who has worked with youth programs and supports children’s and women’s advocacy initiatives focused on the advancement of women, women’s rights, and the rights of children. Dr. McLaurin emerges as an expert in Juvenile Delinquency and her research interests and publications are honed on contemporary criminal justice issues of human trafficking, victimization, children in danger, adolescent delinquency, corrections, and prison privatization. Her research interests also correspond with the work of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
