Faculty/Staff Web Account Request

Need to Know - Faculty/Staff Web Accounts:

University Web Strategy would be glad to assist you in creating a new faculty webpage as long as the intended purpose of the site is for things like:

  • General, non-copyrighted materials
  • Biographical information
  • Research findings and presentations
  • Professional vita and contact information

If you wish to post things directly related to a course and that maybe copyright protected, we recommend using Blackboard to facilitate the delivery of those materials to fit the requirements of the TEACH Act of 2002.  The University of Texas has a great Copyright Crash Course if you would like to read more about the TEACH Act and how it applies to the classroom.  Tarleton's Center for Instructional Innovation (CII) handles the accounts and support for Blackboard.  


Accounts for Faculty/Staff are created inside our content management system, Cascade Server.

Please call 254-968-9885 and press 4 or email to request an account. Training for the Content Management System (CMS) will be provided.

Once you have successfully published your website in Cascade, your address will be in the format

Example: Jon Doe's NT Login name is jdoe, and his Tarleton email address is Jon's web address will be created as
