Either faculty members or Department Heads can submit existing courses for WI approval. Be sure that your Department Head and your department’s two Curriculum Committee members know when you are sending a Writing-intensive course through the curriculum process. They will be notified that a Writing Intensive course is ready for their approval. This page also provides directions for removing a WI designation from a course.
