The following individuals can be given WordPress access:
Full-time faculty or staff members
The site owners (deans, department heads, etc.) automatically get administrative access, but if there is anyone on your team (who is a full time employee) who also needs administrative access please let us know. Admin access allows for editing of the navigation menu, creation/editing of sliders (if your site has those), and customizer access (if your site uses this) along with a few other things. We will only hand out this access with the confirmation of the site owner.
Access will be provided to your employee NTNET account, and you will receive an email when you have received access.
Student workers or graduate assistants
Student workers and graduate assistants must have an sw_username account as well as documented supervisor approval to receive access. Contact Computer Help Desk about creating their sw_username account.
Student workers and graduate assistants do not receive full access to the website. They are able to edit most of the content on all page with the exceptions being: heros/customizers at the top of some homepages (ex: Nursing or Engineering), sliders (ex: MCIS), and navigation menus. Please keep in contact with your site owners or employees with administrative access to make these changes.
