The Center for Educational Excellence has a wide variety of services most of which are available to all Tarleton faculty (full-time, adjunct, and graduate teaching assistants). We are invested in your success and strive to support you in all aspects of the faculty role.
Teach Like a Texan Portal
This Canvas Community allows faculty to explore resources in a one-stop-shop format. We highly recommend that all faculty join the portal to have access to teaching resources and receive instruction-related updates. Tarleton faculty Canvas credentials are required to access the portal.
Instructional Consultants
Our team of skilled Instructional Consultants are always thrilled to work directly with faculty on their courses. You can set up an appointment to meet with a consultant one-on-one either in-person or via Zoom. They also welcome your calls and emails.
Experiential Learning Components
Faculty are highly encouraged to incorporate experiential learning opportunities to help students gain real-world knowledge and understand the application of their coursework beyond the classroom.
Community-Engaged Learning Components
Tarleton’s commitment to using resources, knowledge, and research to build community partnerships provides an excellence avenue for faculty to include students in service-learning opportunities.
